Pink Purple and Turquoise

So I am trying my darnedest to be a better blogger. No time to really elaborate on the post but at least there is some eye candy.

As we all know flowers don't come in turquoise so to bring it in the scheme we added fern curls made of thick colored wire. This was accompanied by pink Orlando roses, pink mini gerbs, stargazer lilies and purple mums

summer lovin'

Two delightful bouquets that remind me of summer. First is the bridal sitting bouquet for Sami. Coral roses, green antique hydrangea and lilies.

Second is the wedding day bouquet for Chauntel and Tyson. Loved the vibrant colors for this one. Perfect bouquet for summer. Red and yellow tulips, purple iris, purple freesia, yellow spider mums and red gerber daisies. Wrapped ballerina style which was so fitting considering Chauntel is a dance teacher!

Second picture is of the smaller bridesmaids bouquet and third is the delightful boutonnieres.

Vintage Country Photoshoot

So here is the moment some of you have all been waiting for:

The Vintage Design Shoot

Every aspect of the day was planned by yours truly....me! I wanted to bring some local vendors together for an inspiration/networking photo shoot. I wanted it to be something that me and the other vendors could put together to show brides just how great the local talent is and give ideas on how to think outside of the box without breaking the budget.  So without further Ado......

Look at this model! Danielle are you a knock out! But of coarse we wouldn't have these Stunning, Amazing, Beautiful...well you get the idea.....Photos from the MOST talented, adorable Camilla Binks with Camilla Photography.

Lets talk about the dress next....UM HELLO!! They call her Milena. O if i could get married again this would be mine! The ruffle detail on the bodice and those delicate rosettes on the skirt make my heart melt. She was a perfect addition to our country shoot. You can find this little number at Avenia Bridal. Nancy and Lisa were a dream to work with and were so accommodating. Their couture gown selection was unbelievable and the customer service was top notch.

The Icing on the cake was literally The Cake by the sweetest Julie Hill of Layers Cake. Her technique and attention to detail are impeccable! I gave her some inspiration and she came up with this amazing piece! Perfect!

How adorable are these custom root beer float cupcakes from Loves Tasty Cakes!!

Every item from the shoot was either bought at the local thrift store or was laying around my design studio. Mismatched plates, chairs and vintage milk glass vases popped on top of the forgotten, now refinished, picnic table painted the perfect shade of turquoise.

Stunning hair and make-up artistry done by the ever so talented Cynthia Dean at Enizio. She created the perfect 40's look I was imagining! This girl is super sweet and insanely talented
You'll also notice a 2nd short dress. This one just couldn't have fit the scheme better. Drew from Pricilla of Boston Vineyard collection was a great addition to the day! Also found at Avenia Bridal

Printing done by the fabulous Eastwind Creations. Custom invitations, menu cards and seating numbers with country twist. So darling!

More details to come. Also want to send a HUGE shout out the the talented ladies/vendors that made this shoot come together. You each brought something spectacular to the table and I can no that you enough!
